Our 7 Step Process
Aalcon uses a seven step process on wall crack repairs, foundation repairs, and waterproofing to ensure a long-lasting, clean job. Most services come with a lifetime guarantee. Here is an overview of how we do just that:
1) We remove dirt and debris down to the concrete footer.
2) The walls are scraped and cleaned to provide an adequate surface to work with.
3) Next, Aalcon locates cracks and block damage, repairing the wall with epoxy or mortar.
4) The area is then re-parged with new cement topping made by Mapei.
5) We cover the area with a plastic waterproofing membrane.
6) Aalcon then backfills dirt, removing any rocks or debris harmful to wall repairs.
7) Lastly, we tamp and grade new backfill for proper drainage.

I hired the contractor to replace an improperly installed drainage system and seal the poured concrete foundation from the outside at my primary home.
